Poor presentation, poor service & too much noisy environment.
Place & taste overhyped.
Lots of miscommunication & mis-commitments for food.

I visited the MMAlam branch on 22-2-24, I got a table near the entrance which is next to the butchery, that area smelled of raw meat which was a major turn off, the tables are high and sitting chairs/ sofas are low making it uncomfortable to eat and the worst part was the waiter who served us did not have a clue regarding his work, we ordered 4 mains Rosh, chapal kebab, Afghani pulao with ribs and lamb qeema. After some time he told us that Rosh is finished which was disappointing but I guess it was a busy night so no issue, but the extremely poor thing was that after 1 hour and 5 mins when our food was served he told us that the kebabs are not available to which I asked him if they were not available why had he not informed me earlier? For that he did not have an answer and asked us to order something else, please keep in mind that now we had been served food after an hour plus of weight. I was with some guests from Karachi so did not make a ruckus, but this episode was very disappointing TLB management should work on improving their service and environment otherwise this restaurant will soon be in the dustbin of history despite serving some good food. Another observation is that the Model town branch has much better service and food quality then MMAlam branch.

At The Lost Tribe, the food was awesome and the place felt really nice. We had Lamb Shinwari Karahi, Chicken Malai Boti, and Pulao. Everything tasted super yummy!

Full marks for the ambiance, but taste wise I would recommend their model town branch.
You can save your time here but the taste is not like their model town branch.

The food was delicious… We have tried Mutton Rosh, kabulo pulao with ribs, lamb shinwari karahi and peshawari qehwa.. only qehwa feels like it was not peshawari as we tasted before, but overall taste was just awesome

★★★★☆ Musadiq Ali
Overall, good ambiance and food quality are good, but they take a lot of time to cook the food. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to prepare the shinwari krahi. The bad part is that the butcher area has no windows to talk to the Butcher.

The Lost Tribe Desi Food is absolutely amazing! Their dishes are bursting with flavor and the spices are on point. It’s like a flavor explosion in your mouth. Plus, the ambiance is so cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend checking it out! 🌶️🍛

If you wish to avoid a frustrating dining experience with your family or friends, please be prepared for the following:

1. Expect a wait of approximately 2 hours for your order to be served.
2. You may encounter challenges in communicating with both managers and waitstaff to ensure your order is delivered promptly.
3. It may be necessary to check on the status of your order every 10 minutes to ensure it is progressing smoothly.
